Put your skinny jeans on the back of the closet, this year is all about straight and wide leg jeans. After years of uncomfortable —too tight to even sit— jeans, the time has come for the looser denim to come back into the picture, and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t get me wrong, skinny jeans look good, but once you try the straight leg ones, you’ll never wanna look back. These are the trendy jeans of the year.

Después de años de usar jeans incómodos —demasiado ajustados para sentarse— ha llegado el momento de que los jeans sueltos vuelvan a ser tendencia, y no podría estar más feliz. No me malinterpreten, los jeans skinny se ven bien, pero una vez que probás los de corte recto o wide leg, no vas a volver a mirar atrás. Estos son los jeans de moda este año.

There’s more room to move, and no weird feeling when you feel bloated; straight and wide jeans have become a personal favorite and today’s look is a 70s inspired outfit that I’ve been loving to wear when I want to look put together but have little to no time to think about what to wear.
Hay más espacio para moverse y no hay sensación extraña cuando te sentís hinchada; los jeans rectos y anchos se han convertido en un favorito personal y el look de hoy es un outfit inspirado en los años 70 que me encanta usar cuando quiero verme bien, pero tengo poco tiempo para pensar en qué ponerme.

As mom and I were walking around town looking for a good spot to shoot this look, a yellow Fiat 500 caught my eye and I knew I had to take a picture with it, it matched the look too well to let it pass. We ended up taking some photos by the Argentinian Theatre, a place which much history in my city. Back in 1977, it caught on fire in a suspicious way and had to be rebuilt a few years later.
Mientras mi mamá y yo paseábamos por la ciudad buscando un buen lugar para fotografiar este look, un Fiat 500 amarillo llamó mi atención y supe que tenía que tomarme una foto con él, combinaba demasiado bien con el look como para dejarlo pasar. Terminamos haciendo unas fotos en el Teatro Argentino, un lugar que tiene mucha historia en La Plata. En 1977, se incendió de manera sospechosa y tuvo que ser reconstruido unos años más tarde.
