There’s a trend that’s been all the rage for a few years now, and it isn’t going anywhere, at least not this 2023. Corsets regained popularity a few years ago, mainly on social media, and despite being first introduced to France in the 16th century, they quickly managed to become an item that many want to try today, and for a good reason: they are not only extremely versatile, but nowadays, the version of the corset does not imply squeezing our abdomen to wear it.
Hay una tendencia que ha estado de moda durante algunos años y parece ser que este 2023 va a seguir pisando fuerte. Los corsets volvieron a ganar popularidad hace unos años, principalmente en las redes sociales y, a pesar de ser introducidos por primera vez en Francia en el siglo XVI, lograron convertirse rápidamente en una prenda que muchos quieren probar, y por una buena razón: no son sólo sumamente versátiles, sino que hoy en día la versión del corset en tendencia no implica estrujarnos el abdomen para usarlo.
On today’s post I’ll show you how I wore this trend in a more “casual” or day appropriate look. My corset is from Monzon Spinelli, a small business based in Argentina that I absolutely adore and I recommend you to check out. I decided to wear it with some vintage tailored white trousers, a pair of silver booties, silver hoops and a mint mini bag. As some finishing touches, I added two resin rings from another small business from Argentina called Random.
En el post de hoy voy a mostrarles como usé esta tendencia en un look más “casual” o apropiado para el día. Mi corset es de Monzon Spinelli, un emprendimiento argentino que adoro y recomiendo que chequees. Decidí combinarlo con unos pantalones sastreros vintage de color blanco, mis botas plateadas, aros plateados y una mini bag color menta. Como toques finales, añadí dos anillos de resina de otro pequeño emprendimiento de Argentina llamado Random.
