Matching sets are one of the easiest ways to look effortlessly chic. You don’t have to put a lot of thought into what you’re going to wear and you can always wear the pieces together or separately, so they’re extremely versatile as well!
I see fashion as something I can play with; I love mixing different styles, silhouettes, textures, etc., and I don’t really identify with one specific style. I see my style as a changing thing, it’s constantly evolving and I wear what I want to. Another thing I love doing is mixing “feminine” and “masculine” pieces but, does clothing have a gender? I think not. Why do we classify them as feminine or masculine? What makes them be that way?
Today’s post will be a little bit different, it’s more like a visual story, or so. These pictures were taken by my mom in my house’s garden, which I’m really in love with. I used to play around, hanging on the trees when I was a child; it was like a magic world to me.
The ugly dad sneaker or ugly shoe trend is all the rage this season: you can see them everywhere and you can pair them with everything as well, and I’m really into it. Some of them are old goodies that made a huge comeback; while others, are new presented by designer brands, and fast fashion retailers quickly started to sell their own versions as well. Although some of them are ridiculous, there are some really cute ones… and let’s be honest, they are comfyest things to wear on your feet. Here I have some of my favorites (and some dupes of the really expensive ones!)
One of the things I like doing when I’m bored is checking some online stores, not only to see what’s new, what do they have and all of that jazz (I would actually buy stuff if I had the money but I don’t); but to also get some inspiration. I’ve been doing that for almost 8 years, so I have quite an experience (if you wanna call it like that) when it comes to online shopping and finding new stores/ boutiques with amazing pieces.
